Hi guys! It’s fall blog hop time!!! I am so excited to be bringing you some fall decor by my favorite gals!! This past summer I went to the Haven Conference in Charleston and met “my tribe”. These ladies and I have chatted every.single.day since we left in July! I learned so much at the conference, but by far the best takeaway was the friendships I came home with!
The temperatures are finally dropping from the 90’s here in Chicago! If you are ready to bring out the fall decor with the chillier weather coming, I have just the blog hop for you. At the bottom of the post you will see a list of everyone participating.
Each of us are sharing fall decor ideas for different areas of our house!! From the outside entry, to the inside entry, to the living room and so much more! I hope you find some inspiration from these talented ladies! So grab your pumpkin spice latte and enjoy! 😉
If you are hopping over from Keki’s post at Homewithkeki, welcome!! So excited you are here!
I am bringing you into my home through my new front door!! We had our Provia door installed about 3 months ago and I am still swooning over it! I can’t believe how much it changed our house. Not only by letting in so much light, but also by adding a totally different look to the front of our house.
So lets jump into our entry way. About 6 months ago we had a console table in the entry. I decided to move the console table to our family room and thought it would be nice to have a place to hang coats and for guests to sit and put shoes on when they come in. Our front hall closet is not by the front, door so I am loving the functionality.
I wanted to keep the decor simple. A few new pillows from Hobby Lobby and some pumpkins was all I needed! I love the mix of the pillows. Patterns, plain, and then adding in a pillow with words. Don’t be afraid to mix and match the pillows!!
The basket on the floor next to the bench was on my fireplace hearth. Move things around! I love “shopping” from my house! This is the easiest way to start decorating a space. Sometimes just giving something a new “home” in the house changes everything!! Instead of a blanket in the basket, its now filled with pumpkins and gourds.
A fun story about the window above the hooks… the house that was on the lot we live on now was torn down. In the Chicago suburbs land is hard to come by. They usually tear down old houses to build. So they saved 2 windows from the old house and put them in our house. Isn’t that so fun!?! Some neat character for a spec house! The window looks into our office! Stay tuned for the office makeover blog post! That is coming soon!
I hope you have enjoyed the entryway fall decor and if you haven’t already started puling out your fall decor, I hope you are inspired now! Make sure to hop over and check out the other blogs! Head next to see my friend Patti at Renovatingmaplesonmano
